Weekday builds a fitness program around your schedule, your equipment and your body, then adapts every session to how you actually train. Coach J is in your corner the whole way.
Launching soon on iPhone · Free 7-day trial at launch · No spam, one email when it's your turn
How it works
Most programs are built for a perfect week. You don't have one. Weekday starts from the week you actually have.
Your goal, experience, which days work, how long you can go, anything that's sore, and the equipment you have. Coach J asks, you tap.
A real block of training, not a PDF. Progressive overload, sensible volume and planned recovery, sized to your session length and your gear.
Log every set in a few taps. Next session's weights adjust to what you did. Miss a day? The plan reshapes. Nothing is ever "missed".
Personalized program
Pick the days that work and how long you can train. Weekday schedules your sessions on those days and counts the week as a win when the work gets done, on whatever days it got done.

Coach J
Coach J is modeled after our real pro trainer and is always available. Ask about form between sets, swap a workout, tell him you're short on time, or ask why the plan looks the way it does. He knows your numbers and he never guilt-trips.
"Life got in the way — happens to everyone. Your session's been waiting 2 days and it's not going anywhere. It's right here whenever today opens up."
Coach J, after a couple of days off
Adapts to your body
Tap where it hurts on a body map. Weekday swaps in safer variations and lighter loads for today, or starts rebuilding that area in stages if it's a real injury. The rest of your program doesn't change.

Equipment scan
Point your camera at a hotel gym or a friend's garage. Weekday recognizes the equipment on-device and Coach J adapts your program to what's actually there. Back home, everything snaps back.

Progress you can see
Hit every rep and next session's weight goes up. Miss the last sets and you repeat. Stall twice and Coach J programs a deload. You just lift and log. At the end of a block you get the receipts: volume, sessions, and how far your lifts moved.

Everything else
Strength and cardio in one program. Lifting days build the base, and steady, tempo and interval sessions sit right beside them with preset timers. Training for a race? Weekday periodizes and tapers toward the date.
Runs logged elsewhere show up on your Performance tab. Body basics can come from Health instead of typing.
Clear demonstrations on demand from a catalog of nearly 200 exercises, so you always know the movement before you load it.
Machine taken or day upended? Swap this session for another one this week, or take a day off and the schedule shifts. Nothing drops.
Logging sets and running timers never wait on the network. Your data syncs when you're back online and follows you to any device.
Equipment recognition runs on your phone. Notifications never include weights, body stats or injuries. Your data is never deleted if you lapse.
Why "Weekday"?
Most training programs fail for the same reason: they're built for a perfect week, and you don't have one. Miss a day and the whole thing feels broken. So you stop.
Weekday is built on the opposite idea. The best program is the one that fits into your life like brushing your teeth. Not a 12-week transformation. Not a grind. Just what you do on weekdays. Consistency is the whole secret, and Weekday makes it the default.

FAQ
Weekday is an AI personal trainer for iPhone. It builds a fitness program from your goal, experience, schedule, equipment and any injuries, then adapts every session to how you actually perform. Coach J, modeled on a real professional trainer, is available in the app to answer questions, swap sessions and adjust the plan.
Yes. Tell Coach J you're new and the program starts with fundamentals, sensible loads and clear cues. Beginners get a foundation phase that builds consistency before intensity. Experienced lifters can bring their maxes and preferred styles, including Olympic lifts.
No. Weekday programs for full commercial gyms, home setups, dumbbells only, or bodyweight. You can scan a gym with your camera or tick equipment off a list, and you can save more than one gym and switch between them.
Nothing bad. A session you didn't get to simply stays available and rolls forward. There is no "missed" or "overdue" state anywhere in the app, and no streaks to lose. Weekday counts the week, not the day. If life keeps getting in the way, Coach J will suggest moving days or training one fewer day a week.
Yes. Cardio days are part of your program, not an afterthought: steady, tempo and interval sessions with preset timers, and hybrid days that mix a conditioning block with lifting. If your goal is a race, the plan periodizes and tapers toward race day.
Not right now. Weekday is focused on training. Coach J can answer basic nutrition questions, but the app doesn't log meals or prescribe diets.
At launch, the 7-day free trial is attached to the annual plan. Your first week of training is fully unlocked during the trial, and later weeks of your program unlock when you continue. You'll get a reminder before billing starts, and you can cancel in two taps from your App Store settings.
